How do I add a soft phone device for an existing User using the Management Portal?
1) Log into the management portal. Hover over the Hosted PBX tab at the top of your screen and from the Advanced options click on Users.
2) Using the search bar, search for the desired User from the list on the left of your screen. Click on the User's name to bring you to their individual Edit User page. Scroll to the bottom of the page where you will see the list of Devices associated with that user. Then click on the "Add a new device for this user" button and choose Soft Phone from the list of blue tabs available.
3) Enter the Device Nickname of your choice. We recommend keeping the credentials from the auto-filled Username and Password fields but you can change this if you wish to do so. Please note that you can click on the auto-filled password to display the characters.
4) After entering the necessary User credentials, click the save button and you will now see the Soft Phone device displayed under list of Devices associated with that User.
