How do I get the proper time on my Aastra phone?

Description

  • My phone is displaying the wrong time.  It is displaying a different timezone.
  • How do I get the proper time on my phone?

 

Resolution

  1. Login into Piston.
  2. Under PBX Services, go to 'Advanced' then 'Users'.
  3. Select the user that is attached to the phone extension.
  4. Click Advanced then Options.
  5. In the timezone field, locate the city closest to your timezone and select it.
  6. Click Save.
  7. The phone will update itself within the next 10 mins.
  8. If after 10 mins, it hasn't changed, then please reboot the phone.
