Can't unpark (retrieve) a parked call assigned to a BLF key

Description

  • When I try to unpark a call the phone displays *2*3X (X is the parking slot) and it doesn't unpark the call.
  • This happens on all three parking slots that assigned to BLF keys.

Resolution

Case 1: Park and Retrieve is not activated in PISTON

  1. Log in PISTON as the admin user.
  2. Under Hosted PBX, click Feature Codes.
  3. Click Show next to 'Parking'.
  4. Check 'Park and Retrieve' then click Save.
  5. Please park then unpark a call.

Case 2: the account in PISTON is using an older version of Park and Retrieve.

  1. Log in PISTON as the admin user.
  2. Under Hosted PBX, click Feature Codes.
  3. Click Show next to 'Parking'.
  4. Uncheck 'Park and Retrieve' then click Save.
  5. Recheck 'Park and Retrieve' then click Save.
  6. The new version is now live.
  7. Please park then unpark a call.
