How do I RMA / warranty my phone if it is defective?

Description

My phone appears to be defective and I would like to RMA it, or return it for warranty replacement.

Warranty period

Phones that are purchased through Voxter are covered under a 1-Year manufacturer's warranty.

 

Case: RMA steps for Polycom phones

  1. Please refer to our article on How to contact Voxter Support to troubleshoot your phone as it may not be defective.
  2. Should it be deemed defective, please ensure you have the Make, Model and Serial Number of the product that needs to be RMA'ed.
  3. Instructions will be provided by Voxter.

Case: RMA steps for Mitel (formerly AASTRA) phones

  1. Please refer to our article on How to contact Voxter Support to troubleshoot your phone as it may not be defective.
  2. If the hardware is deemed defective, you may qualify for product return if still under warranty.
  3. We will require the MAC address and SN (Serial Number) found underneath the phone. 
  4. It will take up to 48 hours to verify the RMA with the manufacturer to confirm warranty. 
  5. If covered under warranty:
    1. An RMA number (Return Materials Authorization) will be issued to you.
    2. Please package the phone and all related cables and accessories to:

      Voxter RMA #xxxxxxx
      Suite 201
      533 Smithe Street
      Vancouver, BC. V6B 6H1

    3. Upon receipt of the product, we will forward onto the manufacturer for replacement.
    4. No interim or advance replacement unit will be provided.
    5. Average turnaround time is 2 to 3 weeks (sometimes longer) for replacement or repair to arrive.
